I’d love to take an English class!
Let me just check my schedule…
Sometimes, it’s just not possible to take an in-person class to learn English. Between work, family and everything else that we value in our lives, finding a few hours to attend class just isn’t possible.
It can also simply be too expensive.
But I bet you know where I’m going with this, right? Luckily, we live in an age where you can learn English right from the comfort of your own home. With an English online course, you can save time and money while learning the language successfully.
Since there are so many online English courses available, we saved you even more time by compiling the best of the best, all in one handy guide.
But before we dive into our list of English online courses, let’s talk about some more benefits of learning English online.
Why Take an English Online Course?
- They’re easy to use. Even if you’re not the most technologically savvy (knowledgable), you shouldn’t have a problem with these online courses. They’re designed to be easy to use.
- They’re often inexpensive, free or have free trials. It’s true! Many online courses in English are free or quite affordable, especially when compared to traditional university courses.
- They’re good for learners who are shy or may feel a little embarrassed about their English skills. An in-person class can be intimidating, especially for English beginners. Studying in the comfort of your own home can be very helpful until you become more confident in English.
- They require no travel and only a device with an internet connection. If you don’t drive or want to save gas money, online courses are perfect for you. You can learn English from home in your pajamas.
- Online courses are usually very flexible, so full-time workers or students can learn English in their free time. Time isn’t an easy thing to sacrifice, but online courses create flexibility for almost any kind of schedule. Study in the morning, after work, on your lunch break—whenever you have time.
- They offer networking opportunities: You’ll likely be interacting with other English students for assistance and homework help while taking an online course. Just like with a physical class, you can network with other learners.
