Mondly<\/a> is a popular language learning app based on daily lessons, a chatbot and unique augmented reality features. But is it worth the hype? I decided to put Mondly to the test and see how effective it really is.<\/p>\n

This review will cover Mondly’s main features and then look at why I found the program to be innovative, but not enough for learning a language to fluency.<\/p>\n\n

What Is Mondly?<\/h2>\n

Mondly has been around since 2014, and it\u2019s one of the most popular language learning apps around, offering 33 languages.<\/p>\n

Mondly focuses on conversational phrases. Lessons take around 5 to 10 minutes each, and it promises to get you up to a B2 (upper-intermediate) level in most languages.<\/p>\n

It stands out in the language learning space because of its techy features. You can talk to a language chatbot, use AR or VR to practice ordering food at a restaurant and see the vocabulary you\u2019ve learned by tapping on a brain diagram.<\/p>\n

Most people use the Mondly app on Android<\/a> or iPhone<\/a>, but there\u2019s also a web version<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

How Lessons in Mondly Work<\/h2>\n

Each lesson is followed by a recap and you can review lessons again at any time.<\/p>\n
