However, when using \u7136\u540e, the amount of time between events can be longer compared to \u4e4b\u540e (which implies more of an &#8220;immediately after&#8221; meaning).<\/p>\n<p>\u7136\u540e is usually used after a &#8220;first&#8221; or &#8220;first of all.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>\u4e4b\u540e vs \u4ee5\u540e<\/h3>\n<p>When using \u4ee5\u540e there is a gap of time that will have lapsed, like the next time you&#8217;ll have Christmas dinner.
