How to Use Spanish Possessive Pronouns<\/h2>\n

Pronouns replace nouns\u2014so possessive pronouns work the same way. For example, instead of saying this is my cup,<\/em> you would replace “my cup” with “mine”\u2014this is mine<\/em>\u2014if it’s already clear based on context that you’re talking about a cup.<\/p>\n

The Difference Between Spanish Possessive Adjectives and Possessive Pronouns<\/h2>\n

Possessive pronouns shouldn\u2019t be confused with possessive adjectives.<\/p>\n

Spanish possessive adjectives describe nouns.<\/strong> They also show ownership but are placed before the noun they reference.<\/p>\n
