You must remember to add the preposition <em>de<\/em> before the instrument.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><em>Je joue du trombone.<\/em>\u00a0(I play the trombone.)<\/p>\n<p>Notice that, as always in French, the preposition forms the correct contraction with the article when appropriate. In this case, the article is\u00a0<em>le\u00a0<\/em>(the).
