You\u2019ll be exposed to <strong>slang, informal speech patterns, different dialects and so on<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Naturally, it has lots of cat videos and other random clips that may not be too helpful, but there\u2019s also plenty of native Japanese to listen to.<\/p>\n<p>One thing that surprised me when I first visited the site was how many\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/live.nicovideo.jp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">live streams<\/a>\u00a0the site has.
